Padang-Style Sate with Peanut Sauce
(Saucepan 16cm)


Ingredients:
500 grams daging batang pinang (tenderloin)
20 grams wheat flour
100 grams rice flour
Sate sticks

Ingredients to blend:
500 ml water
180 grams red onions
50 grams garlic
30 grams chili pepper
15 grams turmeric
70 grams ginger
10 grams kencur (aromatic ginger)
2 tablespoons curry powder
½ tablespoons tamarind paste
500 grams peanuts
5 pieces kaffir lime leaves
Sweet soya sauce
Salt

Method:

A) Sate - cut the beef in desired size suitable to be skewered with the sticks.

  1. ​​​​​​Heat the oil and sauté all blended items. Cook until fragrant.
  2. Put in the ground peanuts, curry powder and the lime leaves.
  3. Pour in the water, along with the rice flour and the wheat flour and the water from the tamarind solution.
  4. Place the skewered beef into the pot with the peanut sauce cooking. Cook til ready.
  5. Serve with sweet soya sauce.

 


 

Satay Padang berkuah Kacang
(Saucepan 16cm)


Bahan-bahan:
500 gram daging batang pinang (tenderloin)
20 gram tepung gandum
100 gram tepung beras
Lidi satay

Bahan kisar:
500 ml air
180 gram bawang besar
50 gram bawang putih
30 gram cili giling
15 gram kunyit hidup
70 gram halia
10 gram kencur
2 sudu serbuk kari
½ sudu asam jawa
500 gram kacang kisar
5 keping daun limau purut
Kicap manis
Garam

Penyediaan:

A) Satay - Daging dipotong mengikut citarasa sendiri, kemudian dicucuk ke lidi satay.

  1. Panaskan minyak dan tumis bahan kisar sehingga naik bau.
  2. Masukkan kacang kisar, serbuk kari, daun limau purut.
  3. Masukkan air, tepung beras, tepung gandum dan air asam jawa.
  4. Masukkan daging dan rebus bersama kuah kacang yang sedang dimasak.
  5. Hidangkan bersama sedikit kicap manis.
